Ghana announces new date for Egypt clash

Information reaching Citi Sports says the Ghana Football Association has changed the date for Ghana’s crucial World Cup qualifier against Egypt from Sunday October 13 to Tuesday, October 15.

The Black Stars were slated to face the Pharaohs of Egypt in the first leg of the playoffs on October 13 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi but the date has been changed to afford the team enough time to prepare.


The Ghana FA is to confirm this date to the world football governing body FIFA by close of Friday.
